Help protect your community
We are committed to helping reunite families of missing children and adults.
This is nearly an
impossible task without the help of the community. The searches that
we have participated have been very rural areas with miles of area to cover.
If you want to keep your community safe here are some tips:
1. First and for most keep a proper identification kit for your whole
family. Keep it in a safe place.
KEEP IT CURRENT! The information is not any good if it is not kept
current.
2. If you notice anything at all suspicious, write it down. You
don't have to call police on everything
but just by just keeping a log you may be able to provide a vital tip to law
enforcement should an emergency happen.
3. Make notes of any strange vehicles in your area. Write down the
license plate number and a good description of the vehicle.
4. If you do witness a crime in your area. Immediately write it down
if you down. Do not speak to anyone before you speak to police.
Speaking to others can confuse what saw. If you don't have
paper write it down on your hand, use anything to get information on something.
5. Register on our site. We will notify you of events that happen in
your area.
We have learned a lot from our searches that we participate in. One is
that the community involvement is critical to solving these crimes. These
cases are difficult to solve because generally there is such a large area to
search. Most victims vanish without any trace at all. We are
convinced that if the crime is not solved in the first few weeks, it could be
months or years before the case is solved. With your support we will
continue to develop applications for families and law enforcement to
aid in the prevention or recovery of missing children and adults.
